  My Journey to Become a Better Learner and a Better Reader Hello guys! I am back! How are you? Hope you are all healthy and safe. Well… it will be a little bit special for today’s post. Today I’m not going to post about story like usual, but I will write my reading and listening journey during this semester join Integrated Communicative Course. Let’s start! In the beginning of this semester, I think it will give me a little trouble especially in listening. I admit that I’m not very good at listening, but I don’t expect if I will enjoy it more than before. And for reading, I really like it because reading is my hobby. Because I rarely reading story in English before—I reading book or story in English just for my English class in high school—so reading in English make me nervous and there are a lot of worries in my head. When I read some story in er-central, I think I should not have to worry that much because I can understand it easily and start to change my level to the higher...

So… today I will post about my interviewed with my partner, Kezia as the characters from the story we chose. I will share the link for the story and the video for you, so don’t worry about that. Hello everyone! Back again with me in parallel- blog! Today I will post about one story--yup just one for listening, and choose one song will suitable with the story like my last post. And because today just one story, I think it will be very short. Ok.. Here we go! The story title is The Myth of Hercules: 12 Labors in 18-bits from youtube and the channel is TED-Ed. The length of the video is about 7 minutes, specifically 7 minutes 51 seconds. The story is about the myth of Hercules and the 12 labors. Hercules is son of Zeus and he is hated by Hera because he is born and being her husband’s son. So, Hercules go to the Oracle of Delphi who told him the path to atonement lay with his cousin, King Eurystheus of Tiryns, a favorite of Hera’s. As usual, I will choose one for reading and one for listening. Let’s go!! The first one is reading text title is Orpheus Descending by Jenny Dooly , level 2 with 6636 words. It is about the myth of Orpheus, the son of Calliope—muse of the epic poetry—and King Oeagrus. He was a legendary singer and musician of ancient Greece. I will write an acrostic poem from one character each from one story I have read. There will be two stories, on for reading text and one for listening text. Ready... let's go!
