Bookmarks With Quotations
Project #2
Hai! Welcome back to parallel- blog! How is your day? Hope you all always have a great day. Anyway, today I will share quotes from two stories for you, after that, I will show my bookmarks made by myself. Let’s go..!!
Like my previous post, first story is for reading text. The title is Under The Sky in Room 553 I Discovered You and I by Spellfire. This story has 1 chapter and 28825 words. The story is about two childhood best friends named Yeonjun and Beomgyu. They have habit to visit the park whenever they celebrated their birthday, sit in the maple tree and have chat with each other. But, someday, when they are going home—because their house is in the opposite direction, and Yeonjun has family gathering—they didn’t walk together, actually Beomgyu forced Yeonjun to let him go home alone, no need to take him home as usual. But on the way home, Beomgyu had an accident. If you interested to read this story, you can click here. But for your information, this is sad story—I am crying when read this story—if you don’t like it, don’t read it. And here is the bookmark.

“I’m so glad I haven’t lost you completely. Knowing you can hear me is
enough. I’m thankful enough.” There are Yeonjun’s words when he visit Boemgyu
in his room. “Beomgyu’s brain is almost entirely dysfunctional, but he is
alive, he is breathing. But his body is in a persistent vegetative state, there
is little to no brain activity but his auditory perception was able to be
saved. He can hear.” That was Soobin—the young nurse—told him about Beomgyu
condition at that time.
I like the words, because it is show that Yeonjun still has hope if his
bestfriend can get up and talk with him again although they told him if Beomgyu
chances of being conscious are very small. He is not hopeless, and always
talking with Beomgyu even he knows Beomgyu won’t answer him back.
Next, the second text is listening text title Rapacini’s Daughter by
Nathaniel Hawthorne with 2477 words and in the level 2. The story is
about Giovanni Guasconti, a young man from Naples who went to Northen Italy to
study. He rented a small room on the top floor of a dark and ancient palace.
Someday, he saw Rapacini’s daughter, who never leaves her father’s flower garden
and falling love to her. You can read this story here. And there is the
bookmark.

"I want to be loved, not
feared." This words was said by Rapacini’s daughter, Beatrice Rapacini
before she dies. That time, Giovanni realized if he was poisonous and tell
Beatrice about that—because she is like him too since she was a baby. Then Mr.
Rapacini appear and say if Beatrice is not alone anymore, she have friend with
the same condition with her, but Beatrice doesn’t like his idea and said that
words.
I choose this words because for me that
words related with life. There is no one who doesn’t want to be loved. Even
they become someone to be feared, they also want someone to love and care for them.
I don’t know why I choose sad story
for today, I didn’t realize it at first and then I write this and be like ‘Woah!
This is the day to read sad stories!’ Okay..! I think that's all for today, hope you enjoy my blog, and see you! Bye..bye..👋
