My Emoji Stories

Hello, everyone! I'm back! Today I want to share something with you, especially for those who like to read. I read some text from er-central—yup er-central, you can visit this website to read some text.. You can improve your reading and listening skill too... interesting right? Now, I will tell you about two stories that make me interested and describe that story with emoji, let's start!

The tittle for the first text is Two Hardworking Ants. The genre of the text is story with classic tale as sub genre. It's about two ants that keep working though the other insects do not do that because that day is sunny day, so they want to enjoy this day with playing around. This text level is 6,90—not that high, I know—and the author is Diane. I spend about 4 minutes to read this text. It has 559 words, and it is easy to read and to understand the story. For this text, I will describe with this emoji.

Why do I choose this emoji? Hmm... I think, the two ants make me want to say 'Wow! They are very dilligent!' When the other want to having fun, they still working and think for the future. So, I think this emoji will fit with the text.

Ok, next is about reading and listening text, you can read and listen to the story from this text. The second text is Learning Language by Ello. The genre of this text is factual and the sub genre in language and education. It is about conversation between Joel and Tom, they talk about learning languages in a bilingual family. This text level is 6 with 492 words. I spend 3 minutes when read and listen this text, because it's quite easy to read and to understand this text. About emoji that fit with the text... hmm let me think... Ah.. I think I will choose this emoji.

Why? I think Joel experience so interesting. It's remind me to NCT, boygroup from South Korea. They have 23 members—that's a lot haha—with different country background—Korean, Chinese, Thailand, Canada, Macau, Hongkong, American and Japan. And they use different language too. That's why suddenly I remember them when read this text. They—Joel and his wife—use English when with his family, and use Thai when with her family, Joel's wife is Thai anyway. But when they have something privately they will speak in different language, Thai when with Joel's family, and English with his wife family, and sometimes, they use Japanese too.

Well, that's enough for today's post. See you!

-Betty-
